CBS MISDIRECTION

-- Rupert and Jenna are shocked to realize Rob is standing right behind them during a private strategy session. (Jenna, the mastermind of the game, is trying to teach Rupert how to play when she screws it all up.)

-- One All-Star fuels a fiery fight between two tribemates.
(Rob tells his puppet Tom to go bitch at Rupert. Tom and Rupert have a fistfight over who needs the Secret anti-perspirant more Then Rob votes his little pawn off by the end the episode.)

-- Although Jenna embraces her role as the tribe’s self-appointed cheerleader, the others have fun mocking and mimicking her when she is away from camp.
(I hope Amber calls her a bitch and says, "My vote is for Jerri." again.)

-- As Tribal Council looms, the five remaining All-Stars feel targets on their backs. Who will be voted off, and who will make it to the Final Four? With only 5 All Stars left, paranoia reaches new heights.
(It's sweeps month, so all your favorite Survivors come back for a cameo appearance. OH wait, that's the whole idea of the show...never mind. Guess CBS will say anything to take your mind off the Friends finale.)

REWARD CHALLENGE: The supra-challenge?  (Amber wins? Rob, too?)
What is this? Another obstacle course? Come on! They couldn't think of anything else? Perhaps this is the usual super-challenge that combines past challenges into one. However, we basically see the same obstacles as in Ep. 11 -- so maybe not.

We DO know that a car or cars will be given away. Thanks to Phoenix for the pic.

As of right now, we only see one car, a Chevy Colorado, but the Survivor web site mentions a Chevy Equinox and Malibu. Plus, rumors pre-game swirled around two cars being offered.

As for the challenge. Here's the scoop. It appears that a Survivor is eliminated after each portion of the challenge.

The Survivors begin with the balance beam. Rupert appears to struggle and is eliminated.

Tom gets past the crawling underneath the branches or not? Either way, it looks as if a puzzle board is next. Amber is past the station as Rupert stands out watching.

Rob gets to the ladder climb. Then there is the rope station. Note Amber is behind him after just climbing the ladder.

Rob appears to struggle (and something appears to have fallen on his head, check out this animated pic and see if you can tell: okie.gif (Thanks to Okie on EZBoard for the pic).

Amber is shown in the zip line. Is this the last part of the challenge? Did she win?

So who wins?

-- Amber could beat Rob if he falls on the rope portion of the challenge. So we'll give Amber a win.
-- The big question is if pre-game rumors of two cars being given away are true. If so, then expect Rob to get the second car.

Snore....what a boring challenge.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Who the heck knows? (Tom doesn't win, Rupert?)

The promos are full of OLD video clips. And we just can't find anything that would hint at an immunity challenge.

The obstacle course could, again, be a two-part challenge. One for reward, and a second for immunity.

Another option is where this pic comes from.

This pic doesn't appear to be at camp, and it could be at a reward or at an immunity challenge. Garbo on EZBoard suggests that Tom could be answering questions based on the frame-by-frame analysis of his emotional reactions.

OK, the only thing more boring than a Survivor obstacle course is one of those stupid trivia challenges about how to survive. "Which of the following bugs is poisonous to eat?" Tom would probably say Amber.

As far as a winner? ANYBODY but Tom. As just a guess, we'll say Rupert wins based on the fact that he should be voted out.

BOOT: Tom.

It appears Tom's hopes of depending on Rob will fall through.

TOM has done everything for Rob, save kissing his feet and calling him Jesus No. 2. Rob will be the instigator this episode, telling Tom to fight with Rupert. And while the previews scream Rupert is a big target, and alliances will fall apart. None of this will really happen. If Rupert wins immunity, Tom would be the logical choice to go. Jenna is setting herself up to join Rob and Amber in the Final 3, and will shy away from Rupert when he gets upset with her cheerleader-like tendencies. While Rob and Amber would be smart to bring Tom with them instead of the Rupert-Jenna pair, it looks like their true alliance could be Jenna-Amber-Rob all along.

PREDICTION: Bucky Bo might have had a chance, but not Daddy-O Tom.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Most disgusting or painful to watch moments?
Rupert and his wife Laura were disgusting last week! Tom was right not to take them. Would you want to be "rewarded" with show?

E-mail markopolo100@yahoo.com with your answer. We'll post the best ones!

Here are a few examples::

1) Rob blowing chunks after eating farfaru in Survivor Marquesas. Check out the Robchunks.gif. (WARNING to modem users...file is LARGE)

2) MamaKim in a thong! YUCK. (Picture outlawed by federal authorities)

3) Christy's armpits. (Kelly W's armpits close runner-up).

Last week's biggest challenge win brought numerous responses.
Here's FIRST PLACE and runner-up: (They both won INCREDIBLE prizes)***

FIRST PLACE
Rudy's immunity win in (Episode 9 of) Survivor: Borneo. This proved that even the dumbest old people on the planet can beat a bunch of stupid kids in a challenge.
- Christopher Rayner

Editor's note: This was by far the dumbest response I've ever gotten, dumb enough to win first place. (Rudy "Uhhh....I don't know" Boesch is still a hero to me).

RUNNER-UP
Jenna M. (Survivor 6: Amazon) Her final 4 and final 3 immunity wins were very important. Her friend (Heidi) had been voted out in the final 5 and there was just her and 3 other guys (Rob C, Butch, and Matt). If she hadn't won the maze challenge or the head-dress/endurance challenge, she would have been ousted for sure, and Rob C. may have won. (Don't even go there).
